LEARN, DEVELOP & PLAY JUNIOR RUGBY UNION.

Who are Tri Colours?

Tamworth Tri Colours boys and girls play Rugby Union from U8 to U12 in the Sunday ARTC Gala Carnivals hosted throughout the Central North and New England zones. Played during school terms, these carnivals are held on and off on Sundays during the season. All participating clubs host one carnival each. The age groupings are in 2-year age gaps - U8, U10 and U12.

2025 will see the launch of a new program for our youngest players. Those ages 4-7 years will participate in the “Get into Rugby” program, which is the official entry level format for children in this age group. Get into Rugby empowers participants with the skills, understanding, and confidence to safely transition to Junior Rugby and beyond.

Held at the carnival days this is a great opportunity for younger siblings of our players to join in on the fun, or as a great intro if you are looking to get your child into rugby.

These Sunday carnivals are a bustle of activity with BBQs and the NSWRU development staff in attendance. It is a great family day out!

What’s happening?

THANK YOU to our 2025 MAJOR sponsors

World Rugby defines its game values as a sport of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect up-held and en-trenched by the laws of the game.

“..a sport of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect..”

JUNIOR RUGBY IS WHERE THE PASSION FOR THE GAME BEGINS.

At Tamworth Tri Colours we pride ourselves on teaching, coaching, and playing an enjoyable brand of rugby whilst maintaining the highest level of sportsmanship, morals, and integrity, which in turn helps to develop respectful and socially established boys and girls.
